No way they’ll let him walk. They have to send a message.
= = =

We get a bunch of riders and horses.

Find his cell and tie a rope around the cell bars.

Pull that cell window out, and RESCUE him.

Note. I have been well trained.

A man who faces several battery charges stemming from a protest in Albuquerque earlier this month has been released on his own recognizance.

Bernalillo County District Court Judge Charles Brown released Steven Ray Baca, 31, Monday morning. Brown said he believed Baca posed a danger to the community, but also said that there were conditions of release that could keep the community safe. Baca is required to report to Pretrial Services, cannot possess firearms and cannot go to any protests while the charges are pending.

My point was that the judge has already convicted him with these conditions. In a criminal trial with political implications the DA must get a conviction on something and Baca put himself behind the eight ball when it comes to plea negotiations. Yes,I have been in this situation and if you give even an inch, you're screwed.
