Who knows? Apparently the producers thought that American audiences would have a tough time with Lee’s accent. The show actually illustrated (probably for the first time to a lot of people, especially in the East) that the Chinese laborers who built the railroads were not treated much better than slaves in the South. More for them to like than not like about this show.

She keeps saying Kung Flu is deeply offensive to most Asian Americans. I have never heard her say why, or who those Asian Americans are. Are they Chinese Americans?
If so there are only 3.79 million Chinese Americans, or 25%, out of a total of 15.11 million Asian Americans. The others are Filipinos, Indians, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese who could not care less about the use of “Kung Flu”.
That reporter is hung up on Kung Flu and is hoping that the liberal media will award her a Pulitzer prize for that.
yep saw it all. None of those reporters cared for the answers, and they all had their agendas going.
