First, Schumer has not said that he’s running yet in 2022. He’ll turn 70 in November.

Second, I think Cuomo (currently as governor) is probably the more likely person to seek the office, if Schumer doesn’t run.

Third, maybe within her district....AOC has popularity, but I don’t get that impression throughout the rest of NY (particularly with upstate residents).

she has popularity outside her district and could beat schumer especially among peeps that elected that dirtbag over and over.

I think Schumer is going to throw in the towel. There’s no replacement available. In the House...I think Pelosi is going to get shoved out, too.
