President Donald Trump’s campaign said that media organizations are spreading false narratives about Trump’s rally in Oklahoma on Saturday after a smaller-than-expected crowd of people turned up, saying that the CCP virus and protesters were the reason why fewer attended.
Leftists and online trolls doing a victory lap, thinking they somehow impacted rally attendance, dont know what theyre talking about or how our rallies work,” campaign manager Brad Parscale told Fox News on Sunday. “Reporters who wrote gleefully about TikTok and K-Pop [Korean pop music] fanswithout contacting the campaign for commentbehaved unprofessionally and were willing dupes to the charade.”
Parscale continued, “Registering for a rally means youve RSVPed with a cellphone number and we constantly weed out bogus numbers, as we did with tens of thousands at the Tulsa rally, in calculating our possible attendee pool. These phony ticket requests never factor into our thinking. What makes this lame attempt at hacking our events even more foolish is the fact that every rally is general admissionentry is on a first-come-first-served basis and prior registration is not required.”
It came after Twitter users claimed they sabotaged Trump’s rally by allegedly reserving scores of tickets online before failing to show up. The claims were highlighted by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who said that teens on the Chinese social media app TikTok and fans of K-pop were responsible for the lower turnout.

Media outlets repeatedly highlighted the attendance by publishing photos of empty seats at the top of the auditorium.

Over a million people signed up online for the rally and 6200 showed up. The sabotage is clear.

I think so too. Something happened. Lying about is not going to change anything. Face reality and face facts.

Over a million people signed up online for the rally and 6200 showed up. Wrong.
The sabotage is clear.
Not necessarily.

agree-I saw the tweet from Trump about almost a million tix request, I think the campaign was had-lefties will stop at nothing- when i saw that i said can’t be right the entire population of Tulsa is only 400,000 people, the entire state has less than 4 million-45% are dems and so they shouldn’t have let Trump brag that 25% of the state was travelling to Tulsa to see Trump-does Parscale not have a clue about this? He is trying to cover himself now. Just admit it,learn and move on, denying it sounds foolish cuz campaign put out that they had over 800,000 request
and so yes, something is wrong-they need to charge $1 a tix, so if it happens in the future the campaign would reap a million bucks- need smarter people managing this

Before you accuse me of being a never-Trumper... far from it. Check my comments. I WANT President Trump to succeed! We all
need him to succeed and win in November.
That Tulsa venue with its capacity of 19,000 people should have been packed to the rafters last night. I still haven't heard a specific reason from Parscale and the campaign why it wasn't.
There were probably a variety of reasons why there were so many empty seats last night, plus pretty much no one showed up at the big venue outside. Let's hope the next rally is handled better.
As I said in a previous post, the good news here is that millions of people watched the rally online and on TV last night.

They are scared out of their minds if they have to put in this effort. Soliciting a teen campaign to sabotage his rally. And talking about it all day. If they werent threatened by knowing he will win, they wouldnt even put on the effort.
Ill say it again. It was a fantastic rally. Mission accomplished. Voters are pumped.

Trump rallies typically draw fans from all surrounding states. This one was likely to do so more than usual. It has nothing to do with the population of Tulsa.
There was a Trump rally a few months pre pandemic in a small town, when the attendance was bigger than the population of that town.
Nothing new here.

Millions watched online. And the live YT comments was pure Trump enthusiasm. Lots going on between the virus and Cary violent maniacs. It turned out great. Hopefully you watched it. If so, youll know that.
Outside the venue , leftists were there starting lots of chaos. Watched that part via Anomaly.

I agree with you... to me, the crowd looked to be 10,000 - 12,000 or so. However, every article I've read so far said that the "tickets scanned (bar codes) at the door" was 6,200.
If you or anyone else has some evidence of the exact number of people that attended the rally last night, I'm all ears. I really don't know, other than what I've read in several articles.
Whatever the number, yes... it was a GREAT crowd!

So what do you think happened?

Oh they are serious. You should have seen them outside the venue after the rally ended. They are obsessed.

I don’t understand what THC and The Fake News Media are so happy about. They are admitting that if they hadn’t hacked ticket thing it would’ve been a packed house and they would’ve had to’ve opened Kansas for the overflow.

If so, youll know that. Hubby and I watched every minute of last night's great rally, starting with the speeches by Lara and Eric Trump. We watch every Trump rally.
Whatever happened last night with the *unfortunate* empty seats (and no-shows at the outside rally venue)... the good news is that many millions of people watched the rally online, and on Fox News, C-SPAN and OANN.
Possibly other TV stations, too? Not CNN nor MSNBC from what I heard.

the entire state has less than 4 million-45% are dems Is that true that 45% of voters in Okalahoma are democRATs?? That's truly frightening, if true. I assumed the number was down in the 20% or less range.

In post # 21 you claimed that
“and 6200 showed up.”
That is NOT correct. You reduced rally attendees by at least 50%. Now why would you do that?
