You don’t understand the value of reconciliation and being reminded of history...good and bad. Many people are too “offended” by reality.
I absolutely want the history retained. In Museums. That is where it belongs. I have walked through every museum in DC. It is an amazing collection of US history in form of paintings & statues and books. I love DC museums, wore out my shoes during one week visit to DC. Mount Vernon and general Lee’s house overlooking Potomac are awesome.
