Berman was reportedly in the process of investigating Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani for alleged lawbreaking relating to his activities in Ukraine.
MY PREDICTION: This is going to come across as a hijacking of an investigation into corruption by the Trump administration and will be made into a campaign issue by the Democrats.
Doesn’t matter whether he agrees to be fired or not. He is fired anyway.

I have no problem with Rudy being investigated if there is reasonable cause to do so. As a matter of fact I believe a few special council need to be hired to investigate all those involved in wrongdoing related to Ukraine, Mueller investigation, etc.
It seems that a deal was cut and Berman is now admitting he’s fired.

The firing may swell be related to Durham or some other ongoing matter for all we know.
Remotely shut off their cell phone & tablets.
Delete their log in creditentials.
Delete key cards from system.
Remove name from OS.
Turn off all credit cards.
Have a recovery company (repo man) go get the company vehicle.
Hopefully the issue will be an investigation into Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, or the “Leaving Office’ guy. That would make the details difficult to talk about for the dems.

Barr gave him a chance to resign. He refused. So Barr had Trump fire him. Trump has the authority for sure. Barr probably does as well. But Trump definitely does. There is nothing messy. On Monday he will not be there.
The issue is not and WILL NOT the process of getting him out of his position, it will be WHY they let him go.
Mark my words — the Democrats will say that this is an insider attempt to STOP a legitimate investigation into Trump’s corruption.
Of course they will. They have been doing so, with just about everyone President Trump has fired, for the last 3.5 years!
There is no confusion...on Friday Berman’s resignation was announced and he had two weeks to wrap up business. Another position for Berman was being negotiated.
On Friday night Berman puffed out his chest and said he wasn’t resigning, blah, blah, blah.
On Saturday Berman received a letter from the Attorney General stating he was fired, effective immediately.
It remains to be seen whether this loser serves another role in the Trump administration, but I kind of doubt it.
On news they threw in that Clay was golfing with Trump and he mentioned he needed a new position since leaving the SEC and he was interested in being AG.
Just don’t understand why President would let someone be top AG with little prosecution experience. Is this another friend, good guy, great guy of the President that will stab him in the back, embarrass him down the road?
