Trump’s primary vote totals trounce previous incumbents’ numbers

President Trump is betting big on the primaries.
With no serious challengers for the Republican Party nomination and high approval numbers among the GOPs rank and file, Trump could have cruised through the spring campaign season like most incumbent presidents do.
Instead, he traveled to 18 states for campaign rallies and spent more than $155 million to rack up high primary-vote totals for a nomination he had no chance of losing.
I dont remember any uncontested primary campaign for a sitting president like this, Stony Brook University professor Helmut Norpoth told The Post. People dont normally turn out in large numbers for a race without a challenger.

“....spent more than $155 million to rack up high primary-vote totals for a nomination he had no chance of losing.”
That is a highly speculative spin by the author. There are a number of other motivations for him spending that money and holding rallies other than to inflate his primary numbers.

If it terrifies the democrats TDS party it's worth it.

The rallies rack up tremendous voter data for the campaign. They may only get 19,000 people in the stadium, but they have the contact info for 100,000 potential campaign volunteers.

The author and others are too stupid to understand how things work.
That's why he's the President and they aren't.

Dear Trump voters...
Please, please vote IN PERSON!
A few weeks early? That's fine.
Just do not (DO NOT) vote by mail-in ballots, if at all possible.
Please, please vote IN PERSON!

I heard K-pop and other teens ordered hundreds of thousands of tickets just to screw the campaign. It worked. Teens are smart and can definitely beat the older generation in some areas. The campaign got played hard.

Trump didn’t leave the white house for 3 months...These numbers are without trying (they are trying yo make it seem like he waa going hard foe the record). Another form of fake news.

For one, he gets to start his Presidential run against Biden early. Really he needs to emphasize law, order and the importance of our history.

definitely a good sign.
POTUS was on fire tonight too. While the crowd was smaller than expected, the live streaming numbers were massive.

They don't get it. And neither do you.
What do you think this rally was about?
Hint: It wasn't about getting votes in Oklahoma.
Trump will win Oklahoma in a landslide.
It was about the massive TV audience and pumping up the base in the entire country through TV, and online streaming audience. Plus those who will watch clips online later. It's a huge campaign ad. It will do a great deat of damage to Slow Joe.
Did that work?
Heck yes.
