SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured inside Seattle's so-called "CHOP" or Capitol Hill Organized Protest zone.
Seattle police responded to a report of shots fired in Cal Anderson Park, near the intersection of 10th Ave. and E. Pine Street, at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police tried to find the shooting victims but were met by a "violent crowd" that prevented the officers from safely accessing the victims, according to a release from Seattle police Saturday morning.

Cops were not allowed near the victims to render help and investigate.
Shooter allowed to escape and is still at large.
Cops were held at bay by hostile group while “aid” was administered by CHOP medical unit. One dead at the scene.
Two victims transported to trauma center by private vehicle (EMT’s not allowed)
At the hospital, cops again kept at bay by armed CHOPS security detail and not allowed to allowed to question the surviving victim
Cops now seeking testicular loss compensation (actually, that is my comment, Not the press’)
Maybe P. Trump should ask the UN to send in peacekeepers.
It was a mostly peaceful confrontation.

Why would police go there after being told not to enter?
Maybe someone was setting up a garden of marijuana and another was reading a poem about racism aloud. The amateur gardener said “Shut your damn ugly face, mofo. I can’t concentrate.” The always rejected poet said “KMA, homeboy.”
Then, as in playground pickup basketball games in every city, there was immediate anger, threats and shooting.
