Threads like this remind me of the annual controversies over Christopher Columbus statues in places all over the U.S. Invariably a group of passionate Italian-Americans gets involved and makes a great public show of how a statue was built in City X by the proud Italian immigrants who came there years ago. But when you do just a little research you find that the statue is located in a neighborhood that is now filled with mutants and misfits from Third World dumps all over the planet ... and there hasn’t been an Italian-American sighted anywhere near that zip code in decades.
