What is the role of women in a political movement as misogynistic as President Donald Trumps? What does it take to be the consort to an authoritarian?
Washington Post writer Mary Jordans deeply reported book focusing on Melania Trump tackles, in its own way, several of these questions. While the initial buzz centered around rumors that the first lady leveraged her husbands election to revise her prenup - this book is much more than a standard Bob Woodward-style recitation of insider accounts. Far from the helpless stereotype that has become a running punchline, Jordans research reveals something larger: the personality and strategy required to become a successful despots wife.
The first requirement for such a figure is accepting that the chief role of the feminine in an autocracy is to bolster male sexual power.
From the beginning of their relationship, Melania played this role well, making sure to tell Trumps detractors that he was a real man.
She purred on Howard Stern about Trumps Olympian bedroom talents. For Trump, she erased her past with other men, including a Frenchman who had gifted her a car.
Melania doesnt bother to hide her devotion to the trappings of Trump's lavish lifestyle. Her apparent unconcern with the cruelty that is this administrations hallmark are clear in her White House priorities.
Fascists adored the archetype of the attractive mother. In Italy today, where Steve Bannon has decamped, neo-fascist organization CasaPound has been working to make fascism cool again using an attractive young rightist mother named Carlotta Chiaraluce. Melania, wife of an American president who has privately advocated, according to John Bolton, for executing journalists, would likely be welcome in this club.

I wonder how many languages Ms. Burleigh speaks...
What a prestigious gig! Not.
Yes! But in those instances, it’s more fun to reply to the posted responses than to read the article itself.
These people who call Trump a despot don’t know the meaning of the word despot. They actually know very little about most of life’s wisdoms. What they know is analytic classroom hypothetical delusional ways of thinking. They lack solidity and clarity of thought because their brains are burdened full of argumentative semantics rather then positive affirmation of what is right and good and how things can continue to be better for each and ever if best is our common goal. Instead they desire and salivate for chaotic disorder and destruction which is harmful to each and everyone of us in some way shape or form.

I believe the only language she uses is “slimyslut”.
Nina Burleigh already has a reputation as a “low rent” crunt!
And what has that been? Putting more money in people's pockets - especially those in lower income brackets? Dramatic increase in minority entrepreneurship? Record employment among women and minorities (who are typically the "hardest hit" whenever things go wrong)? Trying to keep violent, murderous gangs out of the United States (which hit poor minority communities the worst)?
No wonder Norway is in the state that it’s in allowing Nina “Blowjob” Burleigh to serve as a professor.

Ask Michell
Most every Op Ed written by a leftist starts with a false premise. Everything after that is just Bull.
She’s as bitter a ‘feminist’ as they come.

What does it take for you to fact check your bald, delusional assertions? Facts? We don’t need no steenking facts!
It goes to show you, even really stupid people can get a job.
