BREAKING: Rioters In Washington D.C. Tear Down Statue, Burn It As Police ‘Watching.’ Trump Responds.
The Daily Wire ^ | June 20th, 2020 | Ryan Saavedra

Rioters in Washington, D.C., tore down a statue on Friday night and set it on fire as law enforcement officials reportedly stood by and did nothing.

The rioters tore down a statue of Albert Pike, which was the only Confederate monument in the nation’s capital, Fox 5 reported.

Washington Post reporter Perry Stein documented the rioters’ destruction of property in a series of videos that she posted to Twitter and noted that “DC police are nearby watching.”

President Donald Trump responded: “The D.C. Police are not doing their job as they watch a statue be ripped down & burn. These people should be immediately arrested. A disgrace to our Country! @MayorBowserb”

said, "“ Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”"

I completely agree with this. Jesus wasn't contradicting himself. The objective is to allow people to change their mind FIRST. Picking up the sword is the last option

Well, then here is where we differ...these people aren’t changing their mind...they are well funded, organized, driven and action-oriented.

You have to know when it’s time to pick up the sword. It’s time. We wait and we’ll be wondering what happened from the gulag.

It’s mayors stopping police from doing their jobs.

It’s NOT the police. They’re not allowed to make political calls.

Was the same in New York when rioters were burning police cars... those men and women were NOT even allowed to stop thugs from burning their cars.

People who live in democrat cities are at the mercy of democrat marxist mayors.

What an excellent succinct and well written analysis wow you put that so well and I appreciate a positive look at what is going on.

It’s so easy to cherry-pick anyting Trump could have done better could have done more perfectly or even could have done it all that is of course if you don’t have the media the left the Dem.ocrats the Republicans and the counter State all against you.

I know and feel the same way about how depressing a lot of this is and sometimes I get really overly angry even here on Freep / so I really appreciate when someone brings out a positive viewpoint it really helps me

I’m sure you could have done so much better and I’m sure that Trump has been as you say paying attention to know what is up actually he does know what is up and that’s why we put them into office.

How about you take your time instead of complaining about Trump not acting enough and just tweeting how about you take your time and call and write everyone of the Republican elected Congress and Senate people to back up Trump that is for a change back him up

It’s mayors stopping police from doing their jobs.

The mayors are ordering the police to protect the protestors - from us.

Go ahead. Defund the police. See what happens.

The mayors are ordering the police to protect the protestors...

It's a tactic. People who are afraid will often turn to thugs for protection. There's a story about Stalin cruelly plucking all the feathers from a live bird - then dropping it on the floor to show his assembled thugs that the injured bird would follow him around the room until it died.

Marxist democrat thug mayors have learned this lesson well...

But here's the truth - the reason thugs can't pull of this sh*t off in Republican cities in Republican States is because police in those places are allowed to protect the people ... they're NOT asked or told to protect violent thugs.

Citizens of these thug run cities should sue the city. We pay taxes for police protection...

By your standard the American Revolution could have never happened. Forgive me if I think you’d happily let the Leftists take control of our society.

Seems like an appropriate quote from Albert Pike

State or Province? Bond or Free?

“The vital principe of EQUALITY, which cements the Union of the States”
Madison

Addressed Particularly to the People of Arkansas

By Albert Pike

1861

[...]

[6]

Mr. Seward, who is ambitious to wear the honors of philosophic statesmanship, and thinks to attain them by antitheses and paradoxes, pronounced, a year since, that there was an “irrepressible conflict” begun between the North and the South. It was true; but it was not true in the sense in which he applied it. The real controversy between them is as old as the Constitution itself. For it is a radical difference as to the very nature of the Government; and it arrayed against each other the first parties formed in the Republic. The Southern States hold, as Jefferson and Madison and all the Anti-Federal party held, that the General Government is the result of a compact between the States; a compact made by the States, amendable by the States only, and dissolvable by the States whenever it fails to answer the purposes for which they created it. The earliest symbol of the Union — a chain, composed of thirteen circular links, each perfect in symmetry and complete in its separate identity—well expressed the true nature of that union, and the Southern States’-rights doctrine. The Northern States, on the contrary, hold that there is no such compact; that the whole people of all the States, as an aggregate and unit, made the Constitution; and that there is no right of secession retained by a State; from which, by our American common law, it results as an inevitable corollary, that whenever the majority of voters of the whole Union choose to exercise the power, notwithstanding the mode provided by the Constitution or its amendment, they may call a Convention, not of the States, nor in each State, but of the whole People of all; and, the majority being there represented, may set aside the present Constitution of the United States, and make a new one, making, if they please, of the whole Union a single State, and of the States mere Counties.

For fresh in our recollection that the People of New York, not many years since, held a Convention, in utter contempt of their Constitution, and of the mode which it provided for its amendment, and made a new Constitution, which the highest Court of that State held valid, and it governs that State now.

And it will also be recollected that it was earnestly argued, by Southern men, only two years ago, that the People of Kansas would have a right to change their Constitution, in defiance of the provision contained in it, prohibiting any change for a certain length of time.

If seven men agree to go into business together, and make a contract to that effect, and three of them hold that it is an ordinary partnership they have established, while the other four hold that it is a corporation—if such were the different understandings of the parties in framing the contract, perhaps on the principle that there is no contract unless the wills of the contracting parties agree, there would be no contract between them at all. It clearly

[7]

could not be a mere partnership for part, and a corporation for part, of them.

If the difference were even only one of interpretation, it would continually reappear in the various transactions of the parties; and it is very evident that, being so radical and fundamental a disagreement, it would in a little time render continuance of the connection impossible.

That is, precisely the case with the Union which is now being dissolved. There is a difference as wide and substantial between this Government, as its nature is understood by the fifteen Slaveholding States, and the same Government, as its nature is understood by the nineteen Non- Slaveholding States, as there is between Constitutional Monarchy in England and Imperial Absolutism in France.

We should not consent to remain a day in such a Government as Mr. Webster confirmed the North in holding this to be. We do not believe that a centralized and consolidated government, built on the theory that the people of all these States were massed into one in order to make it, can have perpetuity or even continuance. To us the value and only recommendation of the Government are that it is the result of a compact between the States, that no individual action, but only State action, is constitutionally felt in the General Government, and that the States remain as they were when they achieved their independence, “FREE, SOVEREIGN, EQUAL, AND INDEPENDENT STATES.”

That would ignore the Act of Uniformity 1662 and updated to the Test Act or 1678. Which required all ministers and religious leaders during the Great awakenings to conform too the Church of England. The punishment against this act was scourging.

These where religious leaders where usually older and the most respected people in the colonies. Most of them couldn't take this kind of punishment. It was a death sentence. When Patrick Henry witnessed one of these executions he wrote his famous speech which ended with "give me liberty or give me death"

I have already progressed through contact the corruptacrats in DC. Did it for years and no results to speak of prior to this admin. I said NO MAS.

They continue to run up our national debt even with a pub bid president, senate and 2 years into his admin a pubbie house.

They continue to practice catch and release at the borders.

They continue to allow lawlessness prevail throughout America.

They continue to strip our civil liberties.

AND the big one, they still refuse to prosecute the elitists.

So you keep writing your lil emails and calling the DC switchboard. Lots of luck, I will continue to prepare for the fight to come

At any point in the run up to the revolution, the colonists could simply have accepted the British tyranny - up to a third did throughout the war - and their lives would not be in danger, merely what they considered their liberty. This is precisely what you say we should do in the face of advancing radical BLM and Antifa. Turn the other cheek to the takeover of cities and the destruction of property. You may remain safe and secure in your position for as long as you can. Other men will act differently.

Police in Washington have been told to stand down... In New York City cops weren’t even allowed to defend themselves from thugs burning their police cars ...

Police could easily stop this lawlessness. But they work under the authority of the elected mayor.

If you doubt this - get together with some friends and pour b blue paint on a liberal statue... YOU will be arrested within minutes.

Democrat mayors are sending a message to residents that they’re at the mercy of violent mobs. It’s NOT true. Citizens are at the mercy of thug commie mayors.

Solution? Sue the city ...

British authorities where killing their leaders.
In their words ""He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands"

Read the decoration of independence. The part they where most upset about was they had no way to address their grievances. Which that is coming in the US once Trump is gone. They will ignore us while attacking us

Well, we certainly agree here. I’m not certain that this has not already arrived within the past 3 months. I see it from Governors regarding the virus, I see it in the streets, I see it in the suddenly overwhelming cancel culture. You remain silent if you wish to be able to pay your mortgage. Even that doesn’t work if you are somehow related to a police officer. No way to address those grievances today.

Where are all of the high tech crowd control weapons that we have been producing for years. We could gas them out, sonically knock them out, irritate them out ( microwave ), sound blast them out on top of stinking them out. Plus shoot them with dye paint balls to identify them.
