Rioters in Washington, D.C., tore down a statue on Friday night and set it on fire as law enforcement officials reportedly stood by and did nothing.
The rioters tore down a statue of Albert Pike, which was the only Confederate monument in the nation’s capital, Fox 5 reported.
Washington Post reporter Perry Stein documented the rioters’ destruction of property in a series of videos that she posted to Twitter and noted that “DC police are nearby watching.”
President Donald Trump responded: “The D.C. Police are not doing their job as they watch a statue be ripped down & burn. These people should be immediately arrested. A disgrace to our Country! @MayorBowserb”

If they tried to stop it the mayor would have them arrested for police brutality. What are you supposed to do when your leaders tell you in advance that they don't support you?
It’s ok...he’s letting the country see it all..slowly the moderates and indendents are being educated about the left..it takes the citizens to begin demanding action..Trump is letting the groundswell from the bottom up and meanwhile he has no Republican Party to support him and back him and no Republicans 2 resist this counter state activity

Follow through with what you're saying. say he did send in some troops to clean up the city. The Mayor is the one that is encouraging this. He can't remove the mayor. All he can do is leave the military there. CNN would love that.

DC hasn’t had a really good police chief since the early 90’s or earlier (Maurice Callahan?, Ramsey - not bad).
My wife and I no longer go into DC for anything other than to drop me off at work. I won’t take the subways. Too disabled to really defend myself any more.

Seems like an appropriate quote from Albert Pike, who was a Freemason, and writing about it:

Of course being a Christian, I like the quote about “and the Truth shall set you free” better. And a Truth that is available for all.

There is a military saying that, when the enemy is in the middle of making a major strategic error, don’t interrupt him.
PDJT, if he is well served by his campaign PR staff, will string all these events into a heavy necklace of accusation and hang it around the neck of every Democrat in the upcoming election. I hope he calls on them to condemn these statue topplings and now the desecration of cemetery monuments. The Democrats’ tongues will be paralyzed with indecision.
