n a stunning plot twist, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman issued a statement Friday night asserting that he will not, in fact, resign in direct contradiction to an announcement that he was stepping down made hours earlier from Attorney General William Barr.
I learned in a press release from the Attorney General tonight that I was stepping down as United States Attorney, Berman, said in a statement posted to the Southern District of New York Twitter account.
I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning, my position, to which I was appointed by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Bermans statement continued.

OK, fire him.
Okay then, YOU’RE FIRED! No severance, no retirement, no reference. /s
WOW! Didn’t we make a YUGE mistake! We should have elected YOU, president.
I’m so glad you would have done so much better than Trump.
Monday morning quarterbacks are so useless why bother even posting with your boring brilliant strategies ?
how about you run for city council and do that for a few years and then come back and tell us how easy it is to get things done and that’s just at the city level you won’t have Congress the Republicans the media and the whole left against you you should be able to do really well
God be with you...
Re: “I’m so glad you would have done so much better than Trump.”
Actually, I voted for Trump because I am certain I cannot do better.
Trump should have told us he was completely helpless against Congress, against the GOP, against the media, and against the Left - BEFORE he asked us to elect him.
That way, he would not have disappointed anyone.
He did tell us what he was up against.
Stop complaining..he’s done great
Re: “Stop complaining..hes done great”

If Conservatives do not hold Trump’s feet to the political fire, who will?
Definitely not you guys.
Good luck.
It's worth looking into. We got 3.65%. A point lower on a $250,000 loan would be around $140 a month cheaper. We were coming from a much higher rate than 4.6%.
That being said, 4.6% has traditionally been considered an excellent rate.
