I’ve lived in the Deep South for 42 years, and I have yet to meet a white person who would use the “nigger” word directly to a black person. Even down here whites are scared $h!tless of black people and/or being considered a “racist,” and it’s been that way for decades. So when a black person claims that some white person called them a “n____,” or made even innocent comments to them about their hair or skin care products or whatever, I know it’s complete made-up BS.
I’d would think in this day of age that would be common sense. But, under the idea that the white guy was saying it so many times had me super confused. (and yes I have a really bad ear but that’s wasn’t the problem. Confusion was. Can I blame the chemo card?).
