Yes,probably because the the black population comprises only 15-17% of the total US population. After this next census it may well be higher. It would take a huge effort to get many of them to come to a rally this size.
Our US pop is somewhere around 340,000,000 so the black pop is around 51,000,000. The USA is approxi 3.8 million sq mile so the number of Blacks would be about 15 per square mile, whereas all the rest of us would be about 77/sq mile.
As of 2019 there were about 93 residents per square mile.
The first time we were counted like this, maybe soon after the Revolutionary War, there were 4.3 or so people/square mile.
After fighting in the Revolutionary War, my umtiumph grandfather left Virginia because he saw smoke from a chimmny where he lived. “Too close!” And they left. Ended up in northern CA and OR.
