Teachers should have no power to remove textbooks that have been mandated by the district or state board of education.
Isn’t there a county/state preapproved text book list? All fine and dandy if she’s homeschooling, but not sure if she can make the call on which books she can use.

From what I have heard, Zinn’s dubious lightweight book has not a single footnote, attribution, or even a bibliography. I wonder if this is true? If so, it is a joke, a dangerously misleading and ignorance invoking one at that. The “teacher”, if that is her photo, is a child, and based on her intellectual laziness with her textbook choice, an airhead.

This book is being accepted by school districts sll over the country. They are rewriting our history, just like the French Revolution
LS, Would like to hear your take on this. I thought this book is already being used in many ISDs, part of teaching our kids revisionist history, not a new and shocking development.
where is the local board of education? oh, I forgot. It is populated by educators because most taxpayers don’t vote in those elections. They don’t don’t understand that the local school board is their only representative and educators should NEVER be members.
