Tell-all books that offer a damning depiction of President Trump are often embraced by news networks, but MSNBC host Chris Hayes blasted former national security adviser John Bolton for the release of his new book, "The Room Where It Happened."
Hayes began by arguing that the GOP is more the "party of John Bolton" than the "party of Donald Trump," noting that he served in the last two Republican administrations and claiming he's a "vicious bureaucratic infighter" who is "duplicitous," "untrustworthy," and "extremely militaristic."
"He's a completely morally odious individual you wouldn't want in your organization or anywhere around you," Hayes told viewers before mentioning Bolton was behind the breaking up of the White House pandemic response unit and advocated for intervention in Iraq under President Bush. "John Bolton could spend the rest of his life like Lady MacBeth trying to wash the blood off his hands and it would be there still."

Strange the take on Bolton by this person.
And they aired it on MSNBC?
Iran-Iraq War, at the personal level....
They believe Bolton held the kill shot to take down the Trump Administration and he pocketed his gun. They’ll eventually forgive him, like the forgave Comey for “costing Hillary the election”, but they’ll have their tantrums first. And his book sales will greatly suffer from their hissy fit.
Nah.
He’s attempting to make a buck.
Without media coverage he can’t.
And media won’t cover him unless he fits their “Orange man bad” meme.
The “Orange man” being the leader of the free world.
Don’t trust the ‘stach
Bolton never seemed to have held a job for too long.
A Political Gunslinger.
He gave his political legacy a nasty wound to the foot.
Chris Hayes is a loyal toady. So why do his handlers want to destroy Bolton? It seems counter-intuitive.
I used to like Bolton.
But his turning on Trump is completely unforgivable.
The believe wrong. If there really was any substance to the allegations, Bolton would have leaked them before or during the phony impeachment.
The fact that Bolton ‘pocketed his gun’ instead of being a ‘whistleblower’ indicates that there was nothing there. He needed weeks or months to spin the web of lies that would turn into his ‘blockbuster’ book.
Thanks for the mention.
+1
Jason Chaffetz implied that Bolten was a master leaker. During his tenure, leaks from his department were everywhere. Since he was replaced there have been none from that agency.
Yeah, right? I almost got whiplash scrolling past this article.
The cool kids told Bolton he could finally be one of them if he turned on The President. Weak minded Bolton believed them. Now they are going to chew him up too. Too funny.
Yep.
If youve lost even MSDNC, who is going to buy your book?
Hey, I bet Jonah Goldberg would buy a copy...
