Remember — this was the presidential candidate who said he’d have Bowe Bergdahl dropped out of an airplane from 30,000 feet. Does John Bolton think it actually happened? Does he really think Trump and AG Barr are conspiring to abduct journalists and have them executed in secret?
The funniest part of all this is that even the zaniest statements Bolton may attribute to Trump are things that most Americans would probably say to themselves about any given issue or story in the news. And that’s what has made Trump such a masterful public figure: People love him because he says the things that are in their minds but they’re afraid to say out loud themselves.
If even half the things Bolton claims in these book excerpts are true, I’m now starting to think Trump hired him just to spend 18 months jerking his chain and making him look like a jackass. LMAO.

You’re right. One of the main reasons I decided to vote for Donald Trump was that he wasn’t afraid to fight back...and he is a funny guy. If you asked me 6 years ago if I would vote for Trump, I’d have said no, but that was before he threw his hat into the ring, and the more I listened to him, the more I connected with him. Like Rush Limbaugh, he agreed with what I was thinking, and he wasn’t afraid to say it.
