Swiss police are looking for a forgetful individual who left something rather important on a train -- a package full of gold bars, worth more than $190,000. The parcel containing the gold bars was found in the carriage of a Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) train traveling from the northeastern Swiss town of St Gallen to Lucerne, a city in the center of the country, in October last year, authorities said. Despite "extensive investigations," the owner of the high-value package had not been tracked down, officials said in a statement published in the local government Lucerne Canton gazette.

Dangit, I knew I forgot something.

Sounds like a dead drop that didn’t work properly. Wonder who the intended recipient was.

It was me! Seriously! I was playing around with the inter-dimensional time-space portal in my den and they slipped out of my pocket and dropped through the wormhole before I could catch them.
Thanks for finding them! You can send them to my address in Tokyo.

Closer to 100 ounces, according to my calculations. An easy lift.

Wow, I knew Switzerland was rich, but they carry around gold bars for the train fare?

In “Goldfinger” they showed gold bars as having stamps showing where they were cast.

If i left 10,000.00 cash on a Amtrak train they would be looking for me as well...to ARREST me.
Then i would probably have to spend the same fighting the feds for 3 years to get it back...
