If so, those antibodies are useless then, and so is the plasma, and speaking of plasma, couldn’t they also be infected?
It’s a virus, not any different from a cold (caused by corona virus and rhinovirus) or various strains of flu which come, go, and come again. At best any vaccine might be as effective as the yearly flu vaccines which is around 40 to 50%. This is no surprise.
