They think they can manipulate headline stories warning of increased cases of COVID-19 in order to push more lockdowns, ignoring all the ways that more cases are being discovered, while the percentage of positive tests, new hospitalizations and deaths, and the lethality of the virus are all waning significantly.

My FIL was in the hospital over Memorial Day and he tested negative 4 times while there!! Discharge papers said he was a confirmed case. We went ape on this with the doctor- she swore she wrote negative and the hospital staff changed it. We yelled at the hospital and they said they fixed. Who knows if they actually did? To us, this is classic Medicare fraud. I believe CV is real, I just don’t believe the current stats.
Since the Trump decided to do the convention in JAX, the clamor by the lefty media has been extreme here. The mayor had a press conference and one whiney fag after another was throwing questions at him about the huge rise in cases and how this will be a disaster. He said they monitor things very closely and the percentage of positives has been running around 2.8% in Duval county for the past month and hospital admissions are dropping. He then dropped the bomb, the idea of a shutdown was to flatten a curve, it has happened. We are NOT ever going back to shut downs because of the harm they caused verses the benefit. Lastly, we achieved our goal of keeping admissions within reason and if we waited for a vaccine, we may never get back to anything normal.

Nurses lie. They are disproportionally divorced Mom's from the lower end of the middle class ladder without Hubbys income. They are mostly Democrat, mostly relying on Daddy Government to take care of them when they cannot do the 4-10's cleaning bed pans and arguing with old people about their next pain shot. There are going to be people trying to spread Covid to all areas especially for political reasons against Trump. All the thousands of protesters are a major reason for the up rise in cases.
RN’s make good money and don’t touch bedpans. Most have a BSN and many have at or near 6 figure incomes. You are thinking of LVN’s, aka “vocational nurse” or “nurse assistant”. They make about 1/3 the salary of RN’s.

RN here....hospitals are full because while more people are coming in with the usual stuff, covid cases still come in and take up beds that normally would be empty about 10-15 per cent of the time.
It’s not that the covid cases are 100 per cent of the beds...they are just filling what would normally be empty this time of year and hospitals have opened back up to take in more of the regular cases lest we have increases of deaths due to other categories.
That’s not crisis level numbers. Get back to us when it’s 350 covids for 350 beds.
It can mitigate hyper inflammatory states and cytokine storms but it does suppress the immune response overall and increases hyperglycemia in diabetics and can tip borderline prediabetics into high glucose states.

I’ve never heard something so horrible about NURSES for Gd’s sake. I’m appalled. Nurses are doing very selfless caring work and for sure they don’t need to be lumped into political or intellectual boxes like you have done. Offensive to say the least.
Well maybe LVN’s are more in use in your area but in my area the hospitals don’t hire LVN’s and hire very few nurse assistants. Yes we do clean the crap, empty the bedpans and disimpact both liberals and conservatives. I do all very well!!!!!
