They are always lying. Lying then. Lying now. Kind of like democrats.
Since they ALWAYS lie, it doesn't matter when.
They simply REFUSE to tell the truth if it will cause them to LOSE FACE.

You have to look at what they do, not what they say. Their mouth is lying, or their actions are lying. I believe the actions. They have a very bad situation right now. I have almost no sympathy
