So much never gets mentioned.
Exactly.
Yes, it is very sanitized.
Can’t stop there because the “Columbia” in “District of Columbia” comes from Columbus and he enslaved and tormented indigenous people. So we’ll have to just call it “the District”.
The authorities are allowing this cultural revolution to take place. If a large group of people were to tear down Martin Luther King memorials or deface “historically black colleges” you can BET they would be stopped.
I as an individual citizen may have the firepower to protect my history but I certainly do not have immunity being afforded the communists.

Once the destruction of Institutions is over, the Leftist steps in and then the real Murder and Slavery begin.

It goes both ways. As a white woman I hear far more condemnation of white women *for being white women* from white men, including here on FR, than I ever heard from the Asians and Hispanics that make up the majority of my state. So I married a Taiwanese man who didn’t have a problem with me being young, white, or female and who did not buy into this cultural Marxist claptrap about traditional marriage being a female plot to steal men’s paychecks. No regrets.
That’s great; I sincerely wish you the best! The gender war has been front & center for so long I think both sides are looking for love elsewhere.
‘...not wanting freed blacks coming to New York City and taking labour jobs from the many Irish immigrants living there.’
yes, but you completely left out the ‘draft riot’ part of it; Irish were being drafted into the Union armies, and their families were bereft of support...the fact that freed blacks were not subject to the draft is what triggered the riots...
Think what you wish, I am 76 and white, married twenty years then widowed by lung cancer, married again for twenty five years and I cherish my wife with all my heart but I have told her that I now believe that giving women the vote was one of the worst mistakes ever made and I will advise any young male, white or black, not to consider marriage unless he can find a woman who is better educated than he is, makes more money than he does, has shown the ability to live a meaningful life and will sign a prenuptial agreement. Good women are NOT just hard to find now they are nearly impossible to find and a disastrous divorce is far more likely than not. Few dangers that a man can face are greater than the danger of saying two tiny words containing only three letters in total.
Without white males, who are they going to mock in commercials?
I'd say he's done pretty well for himself out of an institution that allegedly favors women. It seems to be a Murphy's Law that the divorce courts will always side with the most worthless examples of BOTH sexes. "Men" like him are why I will never remarry if, God forbid, anything happened to my husband.
Few dangers that a man can face are greater than the danger of saying two tiny words containing only three letters in total.
Really? More dangerous than going to war in Iraq or Afghanistan, wars we should never have been in in the first place? I'm in favor of equality for men via abolishing the draft. When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor the lines for the recruitment centers snaked around the block, especially in Hawaii. Americans can and will step up to the plate in case of imminent threat to US soil. All the draft does is remove government's accountability to We The People when it decides to play world policeman. Sexism against men is real, so let's not trivialize the very real danger to men's lives by comparing it to marriage, which is more of a gray area.
Removing my right to vote for Trump because some other women voted for Shillary sounds remarkably like the leftist argument that I should pay reparations because some other white people owned slaves. I am a conservative. Therefore I reject collectivism in all its forms, even those that are personally appealing to some conservatives.
Ol' Amerigo Vespucci was but a cracker himself. Can't be long before they go after that too.
I am guessing that you think you destroyed me with your brilliant reply which began with, “The only divorced man I know...” I am trying to imagine a woman who only knows one divorced man, where do you live? Maybe on an island in an ocean which only has one fish?
Nah, People’s Republic of Commiefornia where the cultural Marxism rot has set in very deep. That combined with the fact that marriage rates are very low among Millennials means that I am the only one in my group of friends who is currently married. It is impossible to be divorced if you never married in the first place.
I meant no offense to you as a man or as a conservative. I call them as I see them and I will never stop defending conservative principles. I am sorry if I somehow offended you.
Have a blessed day.
These people have no interest in justice.
What they want is revenge.
Actually, what they want is CONTROL !
You have a blessed day and don’t apologize, actually you taught me something. Now I understand that maybe you really only know one divorced man. When I was young everybody was married, with rare exceptions. When I was 23 way back in 1967 I had an honorable discharge, a Navy electronics certificate, was working in manufacturing engineering at a bearing factory, driving a new Mustang and had a salary and benefit package equal to probably seventy thousand a year or more today and that is based on what seventy thousand is worth in South Carolina today. You could double that or more for California.
I was renting a three bedroom brick house and my parents were living with me because my father had become disabled and my mother had entered nursing school at 48. They had a house and forty acres but mom did not drive so they stayed with me so that she only had one mile to travel to work.
Now picture me at work in a white, long sleeved shirt and necktie when a very nice sixty year old grandmother comes for her first day in the office. An amazingly fit and active person she could pass for 22 from the neck down and a fine 22 at that. Her face looked maybe 45. She wanted to get acquainted and she asked how many children I had. I answered none and she asked why not, I thought she was a little nosy but I just asked her if she thought I should be married first, she looked positively shocked and asked me, “You,re still single, how old are you? I said 23 and she looked horrified! “You’re 23 years old and not married, you should be ashamed of yourself”, she replied. I finally married at 28 and by then everyone had become convinced that I would be single all my days.
That may give you some idea of how much things have changed.
