Don’t care, not our problem.
They’re starting to use Chinese engines in them now - China has gotten single-crystal turbines going these days, and they’re as good as the Russian engines at this point.
Look at prevailing wind patterns and guess which way radioactive fallout will go. It may become our problem indirectly.
"Slaughtered" is such an incendiary word, isn't it? /s
The tankers would be vulnerable and the stealth element would be lost. Don't forget that almost all western countries especially the USA would be sharing intelligence on a real time basis,
Both countries have 700 million more people than they need.
Let their nuclear war begin!!
I used to work with some. For the most part, I agree with that.
Seriously? The older generation may have had a few socialists, but the younger generation is all for the USA. And its because of the socialism-caused misery here that the US is attractive.
Good point. Give that India and China are two of the most populated nations on this planet a nuclear exchange would kill a lot of people.

I believe you’re confusing their love of money and shiny things with their love the USA. They do not like Americans, our history, etc. They’re also supremacists in many ways.... caste system stuff, etc.
Depends on whether they mask the tankers as local air traffic. There’s games that could be played that would retain stealth in a first strike situation. Also keep in mind that China has a known, operational antisatellite capability that would reduce intel gathered from overhead.
I doubt it will not become WWIII.
But if it did, I would have some advice for DJT about how to exploit the situation without getting involved in any way with China-India conflict on the border. But loose lips sink ships so I won’t let google pass my advice to the Chinese.
Go India!

No, you’re just in time to say, “Go get some—popcorn!”
I don’t it will be a cake walk over India. If India can bottle up the Chinese in the Himalayas, it may be turn out to be more like the mountain war Austria-Hungary and Italy fought against each other in the First World War.
China has a long supply train through Tibet to even get to India. A war might hinge on how well their navies perform against one another. Or what Pakistan might do. China might win an air war. But operating out of those mountains might cramp both sides’ style.
I’d give the edge to India if only because they’d be fighting on interior lines in every theater and battle space. World opinion might be with India, too, if China is the perceived as the sh*t-starter. Don’t know if that would translate to material help, but they might receive some valuable intelligence.
The one big edge I’d give to the Chinese would be in cyber-warfare. If they can disrupt India’s networks and electronics, it could be the thing to turn a war in their favor. Especially if they could cripple India’s nuclear capability by it.
All just WAGing on my part. But it’s fun to speculate!
“World War 3”?
Really?
ask Hitler on that subject.
Had he waited a few years to attack Russia we may all be speaking German.
As it was Germany was waging war in Europe, Russia, the Mid East and Africa. Maybe a bit too thin.
