I’m too old and ugly to start over, and frankly I wouldn’t want to. But if I did have to start over I would try country and western style events (not bars though), chile cook off’s, churches, and night school classes to name a few. If you’re really interested in someone you’re in a conversation with, come right out and tell her she’s beautiful if you mean it. It won’t guarantee that a relationship will start, but it’s a bombshell way to get her attention.

Best of luck. Family, friends, and maybe even neighbors can sometimes introduce people and it works out. Don’t get discouraged. I know it’s common knowledge, but the more you show interest in someone and pay attention to what they are saying, the more interest they show in you.
