You have to wonder at the caliber of the people they hire at the leadership level of such a large corporation. Anyone with a lick of sense will realize that they are putting their company in a very bad spot by these tactics.
These are the type of "officers", who put out those stupid and crazy "social justice" statements and policies.
The victims' lawyers are probably drooling over the payout from the lawsuits. I would imagine that ebay will try to settle quietly.
The answer to your question is EcommerceBytes - check it out.
So you want to get to the bottom of this? Alright. Here’s some retro FReeper work. Read all of the following quoted from the article.
EBay CEO Devin Wenig steps down, says he and board were not on same page

[Excerpt:]
“Wenig, a former Reuters CEO, joined eBay in 2011 and had held the top job since July 2015...During his tenure as chief executive, Wenig spearheaded efforts to modernize eBay and court younger shoppers, including a site redesign and the implementation of artificial intelligence for shopper insights...On Twitter, Wenig praised eBay as a pioneer of responsible big tech.
EBay is an example of why we shouldnt give up on big tech companies, he tweeted. It stands for economic democracy, and has a culture and community that are examples of how technology can enable, empower and bring us together. I will always, always be in eBays corner.”
You’re talking about the old, dying swamp method.
Have you noticed what’s happened to the top levels of the DOJ and the FBI?
Not if the right people are convicted and sent to prison.
Brotha can you spare a dime?
“This also does so much more to question how Wenig managed to pull a $57 million golden parachute out of Ebay.”
Auction Bytes and ecommercebytes.com is what you’re looking for.
This is crazy. I was a regular reader and occasional commenter there for many years. They are an old school website and pretty vanilla by today’s standards. The comments there we’re always pretty anti-ebay venting but the articles were not over the top negative. I wonder if eBay was more mad about the comment section than the articles? That I could see.
Yep, absolutely crazy. Same here, comments would get a bit (sometimes hugely) nasty, but anything they called eBay on was something eBay really needed to fix. (Or half.com when it was around, etc.)
Being targeted for it? And so poorly... Question is who else did they pull this on? Can’t imagine that was the only victim here.
Some took their pensions, some moved to deep state tied law firms, and some went to deep state approved media or academic slots. I haven't noticed any of them homeless or in prison.
Have you noticed anything uttered by AG Barr?
During the past 223 hours?
Hi.
That’s weird even not knowing the full story.
Creepy.
