I can't believe this....well, actually, I can. EBay is a Fortune 500 company with $43 billion in market cap, and these are high-level executives making millions in salaries and benefits. Can they really be that dumb? What were they thinking?

The lawsuits and reputation damage are going to be unbelievable. I expect the stock to plummet in tomorrow's trading.

Evidently, there's some substance to my theory that the last remaining adult in the US died in the middle of the G. W. Bush administration.

Yep, people in these kind of positions can actually be that dumb. They may be highly skilled, but they can be pretty dumb on some things.

Neighbors who received the porn in the mail worked hand in hand with postal authorities to be all outraged about the horrible things that were delivered to them, then laughed over wine as they were treated to dinner.

I'm not minimizing the experience they went through, but it was handled with all the expertise that a mid level eBay executive is expected to have. It wasn't that tough of an investigation.
