Former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien made stunning claims on Saturday that a network exec once told her she could only have the "right kind" of black guests on her show.
Reacting to the controversy that has rocked ABC News over the weekend, O'Brien reflected on her time at CNN and indicated that a network executive discouraged her to sit down with black radio host Roland Martin.
"This is an interesting read. Reminds me of the CNN exec who told me: 'Roland Martin isn’t the ‘right kind of’ Black person.' She didn’t want me to book him on my show. L," O'Brien tweeted.

The kind of black guests who can dance? Not the ones who “act white”.
That distinction had a big impact on Malcolm X; he was light-skinned and went from the top of the hierarchy to the bottom when “black power” came around in the 60s. He was practically regarded as white, and boy did he overcompensate...
That’s why most of the most moonbatty are the light-skinned blacks. They feel they have to overcompensate to belong to “The Tribe”.

I’ve seen that modus operandi before - when the “gay marriage” debate was in the courts. One of the big financial firms in NY had people putting little rainbow flags on their desks to show support - and woe to those who wouldn’t do so.
This is why at this point many people don’t separate “big business” from “big government” at all; they’ve morphed into the same entity. Policies governments could normally force on only government workplaces (such as affirmative action resulting in unqualified hires & promotions, pay disparity solutions with tokens overpaid for no-show work) are now forced on big companies under threat of lawsuits.
