Cops aren’t the only ones abandoning their jobs. I’ve ran across a few truckers that refuse to deliver goods to rat infested areas. I suspect others that provide goods and services are doing the same.
I have a feeling the best thing Trump can do is let the respective mayors and governors show their voters just how good they are at bringing law and order back as well as the normal flow of goods and services.
If they cannot, come election time they are gone. If they are still there, then the voters got just what they’ve wanted all along.

Several years ago, I put those 3” x 5” decals on all my four cars. I get a wave once in a while, I’m guessing from a cop or detective in an unmarked car.

Police organizations and concerned people at the national level with the means could nip this in the bud by giving us a test case to consider.
Go to Minneapolis or Seattle and hire away every single cop in the next 30 days. Give the city councils exactly what they are asking for.

The problem with the current cops quitting, their equipment and infrastructure will remain under the control of the Antifa supporting communist mayors. Cops having to work for leftist mayors and their leftist police chiefs are in a real bind. They are being told to violate their oath or get fired. Then they do it by the book and get cancelled anyway. Like in Atlanta, Seattle and Minneapolis, no leftist ever takes responsibility for anything - it’s always the grunt’s fault.
