I’ve decided to call them ‘wack’, instead of ‘woke’.

I wonder if the academics, journos and others targeted successfully by the wack cultists can get together and found their own media outlets and teach at places like Hillsdale.

There is now a need for courses in classical liberalism: tolerance for varying opinions; banishment of ad hominems; the end to cancel culture.

Public schools need to be mandated to teach civility along with civics. Real self-esteem is engendered by confidence rooted in reality of knowledge and skills gained. There needs to be a 10-year absolute ban on any personal & political opinions by teachers in any classroom. Teach real critical thinking, where every side is examined and discussed rationally and with applied logic. I’ll bet math scores improve with this sort of reinstalled rigor, as well.

The wack left does not control society and it does not control the public square. Those who are still working, have kids in tax-supported schools and live in municipalities where they pay for services via property taxes, need to stand up. Hire attorneys. Set up escrow accounts. Draw up contracts with civil elected officials and make them adhere to them in order to access the escrow taxes.

The social contract needs a reboot.

On the other side of the political aisle, among self-described liberals, we’re watching an intellectual revolution. It feels liberating to say after years of tiptoeing around the fact, but the American left has lost its mind. It’s become a cowardly mob of upper-class social media addicts, Twitter Robespierres who move from discipline to discipline torching reputations and jobs with breathtaking casualness.

The leaders of this new movement are replacing traditional liberal beliefs about tolerance, free inquiry, and even racial harmony with ideas so toxic and unattractive that they eschew debate, moving straight to shaming, threats, and intimidation. They are counting on the guilt-ridden, self-flagellating nature of traditional American progressives, who will not stand up for themselves, and will walk to the Razor voluntarily.

They’ve conned organization after organization into empowering panels to search out thoughtcrime, and it’s established now that anything can be an offense, from a UCLA professor placed under investigation for reading Martin Luther King’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” out loud to a data scientist fired* from a research firm for — get this — retweeting an academic study suggesting nonviolent protests may be more politically effective than violent ones!

Now, this madness is coming for journalism.

In my town which is probably something like 90% white (and derided for being so) they held a BLM march on the town square which persisted of dozens of white people and one token black guy and organized by a young white female (probably antifa)

An LEO friend who has worked a few protests told me that the absolute worst ones are the young white women. They are absolutely psychotic, hyper violent and vitriolic. One stood across from him on the line screaming obscenities at him that would make a sailor crawl up in the fetal position for over 3 continuous hours. They are automatons.

Without continuous race, sex and class wars to incite their base of voting blocks, the democrats have no chance of winning in November.

These riots and assaults will stop ten minutes after polling data shows that the democrats are no longer gaining sympathetic press reports that help their November election chances. Of course, that means that the burned out streets are Trump’s fault.
