I thought Christ died on the cross for our original sin. Sin ab initio, then, is a dead end concept for Christians that adhere to the New Testament.
I find that I concur with your sentiment that I must battle my own sinful nature and not that of some long gone predecessor. How does Timmy think he is being Christian by manufacturing sins that have not been committed? Charity is one thing, but such vainful hubris is a sin in its own right.
Well said. I’d be in favor of simply separating from them so we can’t oppress them anymore, but I’m informed that such a view is also “racist”. There appears to be no way out.
