Zoom has admitted it suspended the accounts of human rights activists at the behest of the Chinese government and suggested it will block any further meetings that Beijing complains are illegal.

These are just a FEW of the Web Conferencing software sites. You don’t have to use Zoom. There’s a ton of competitors.

I do a lot of online teaching, and have used Zoom in the past (not any more!) and a lot of the others. Zoom wasn’t bad, but my favorite is Adobe Connect and Webex.

Zoom’s founder and CEO is a Chicom-American. According to Wikipedia, its product development team and 700 of it’s software developers are located in China.
