Companies including T-Mobile and Papa John's Pizza are distancing themselves from Tucker Carlson's television show on Fox News after the conservative host's dismissive comments about the Black Lives Matters movement.
The backlash intensified after Carlson on Monday offered an inflammatory take on the nationwide anti-racism demonstrations that have followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
"This may be a lot of things, this moment we're living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will," Carlson told viewers on June 8, the first day of Floyd's memorial in his adopted hometown of Houston.
Asked by a Twitter user the next day if Carlson's message was one T-Mobile supported, CEO Mike Sievert tweeted back, "It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter."
In fact, the telecom said in a subsequent tweet that it had cut ties with Carlson in early May, noting that it had "cancelled all future placements" and that T-Mobile will "continue to support those who stand against racial injustice."

Black Lives Matter offshoot embraces anti-Semitism, engages with terrorists
Over the Christmas weekend, Chicago surpassed the 750-murder mark for 2016. But as blacks lay dying on the streets of Chicagos South and West Sides, a Black Lives Matter offshoot is more interested in traveling overseas to learn resistance from terrorists.
The Dream Defenders bills itself as an uprising of communities in struggle, shifting culture through transformational organizing. But an investigation conducted by the Haym Salomon Center reveals the groups embrace of anti-Semitism and collaboration with a State Department-designated terror group.
In August, Black Lives Matter singled out Israel for condemnation, declaring it an apartheid state engaged in genocide. These accusations angered Jewish leaders, many of whom had steadfastly supported the BLM cause. Nonetheless, despite what can only be described as a total lack of relevance to its own agenda, BLM did not back down.
Just like BLM, Dream Defenders proclaims solidarity with Palestinians. DD claims that the black community in America, together with Palestinians in the occupied territories of Israel, are all victims of state-sanctioned violence. As such, the two causes are related and should learn resistance from each other. After leaders from BLM and DD made their first trip to Palestinian territories in January 2015, BLMs anti-Israel advocacy remained steady, mostly lashing out at the Jewish state at rallies and protests. DD stepped up their disdain for Israel, engaging in what the U.S. government defines as anti-Semitism.
Dream Defenders website dedicates an entire page to Palestinian solidarity. While accusing Israel of existing on stolen land, there is no mention of Palestinian terrorism, including the targeting of civilians.
During the 2016 trip, the group was led around East Jerusalem by convicted terrorist and member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Mahmoud Jedda. Jedda served 17 years in Israeli prison for planting bombs.
Not very LIBERAL of them.
The cowardice displayed by numerous companies tells me one thing. Terrorism pays.
Don’t for a minute think these companies give a rat’s ass about BLM or doing anything to actually advance black lives. They’re scared. They’re scared of the Twitter mob. They’re scared seeing the rioting and torching of businesses and will say anything they think will appease the mob.
It’s mob / shakedown tactics by BLM and caving to those tactics by the cowardly corporate types. Neither party actually cares about Blacks or Black Lives. If they did, where was the outcry against the multi-year weekend body count piling up in cities like Chicago.
Well that's why they (white libs) are ‘taking a knee’.
Here's a video of white libs kneeling and repeating a chant denouncing their own white privilege

My gaydar is on fire.
That pic says it all.

T-mobile is cheap but is rated low in coverage
What good is cell phone/internet when you drive through zones with no coverage?
Comcast (fake name Xfinity) is a nightmare too.
Or a choke hold.
Peach
Tucker’s show regularly gets higher ratings than any cable OR BROADCAST network in his time slot. He speaks truth to power and is fearless. Fox would be committing commercial suicide to remove him especially since he has never uttered a racist word on the air or in print in his life.
I worked for 10 years at twp ABC broadcast tv stations.
I can tell you directly from experience the LOSERS are the advertisers who are bailing on Tucker. WHY?
Because Tucker's current rating are through the roof. What that means is there are hundreds of advertisers ready and waiting to buy into the slots being vacated by T-Mobile and not very good pizza Papa John.
If FOX canceled Tucker it would be akin to you tearing up your weekly pay check before you cashed it.
Tucker, Hannity, and Ingraham are earning BIG BUCKS for Fox in their 3-hour prime-time strip and Fox would be shooting themselves in the billfold if they canceled any of them
Watch the NEW sponsors start showing up on Tucker and eventually if T-Mobile and Papa John's sales are adversely affected they'll eventually be trying to get back on the very show they bailed on.
It's happened before.. and it'll happen again and again.
These two sponsors are gesturing to the public by supporting BLM. However, when they find out they've LOST business because of their gesture you'll see their hypocrisy exposed when they grovel their way back in an effort to restore their lost revenue as a result of catering to Social Justice Warriors.
“For a sane alternative, Id recommend to everyone Patriot Mobile.”
Patriot Mobile uses Sprint’s network, Sprint is merging with T-Mobile. I’ve just reached a point where I’m not sure you can escape these corporate giants.
BYE BYE T-MOBILE! Was just waiting for a good excuse!

They lost me long ago when they discontinued their chicken alfredo pizza. I no longer get pizza from chain stores. Only from long established mom and pop shops now.
Shit gives you diabetes anyway.
He's on fire lately, I posted this here not long ago
I guess Lenin had it wrong.
He said the capitalists will sell him the rope to hang them with.
Corporations today will actually give them the money to buy the rope to hang them with.
Agree, here's how I phrased it.
T-Mobile should have the guts to come out and state the obvious.... liberalism (in the classical sense) is completely dead.... all hail fascism!
