Companies including T-Mobile and Papa John's Pizza are distancing themselves from Tucker Carlson's television show on Fox News after the conservative host's dismissive comments about the Black Lives Matters movement.
The backlash intensified after Carlson on Monday offered an inflammatory take on the nationwide anti-racism demonstrations that have followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
"This may be a lot of things, this moment we're living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will," Carlson told viewers on June 8, the first day of Floyd's memorial in his adopted hometown of Houston.
Asked by a Twitter user the next day if Carlson's message was one T-Mobile supported, CEO Mike Sievert tweeted back, "It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter."
In fact, the telecom said in a subsequent tweet that it had cut ties with Carlson in early May, noting that it had "cancelled all future placements" and that T-Mobile will "continue to support those who stand against racial injustice."

He looks very metrose......
Dropped Papa John’s a long time ago. Their pizza tasted like sour assiago cheese and I don’t like what they did to its’ founder (Hope he takes back the company).
As for T-Mobile. Don’t use them and never will.
Also boycotting Pepsi and some other companies for their guilt offerings and extortion payments to black extremists and criminals.
Eventually the shit will hit the fan when conservatives learn about all this retribution against good people and companies (Look what happened to Chik Fil-A in the original smear/boycott. We always eat there. Good food and great people).
With so many small businesses gone or crippled due to the coronavirus, I’m surprised these larger businesses haven’t learn anything about who customers are going to support in the future.
Who’s your mobile service provider?
I once had their service, briefly. It sucks b###s. Never use them.
Did not know he wrote a book.
If not for his keyboards, "Like a Rolling Sone" would have been just another Dylan folk song.
These CEOs are not very bright.
WTH is that GAY guy??
Right after the politicians, who will squeal like pigs before the butcher’s block.
Amen.
Re-read what I wrote
What is that? I have tmobile and this pisses me off to no end.
I will.
Chuckle.
Bye bye T-Mobile and Papa Johns pizza. There are plenty of other providers to take up the slake.
He asks, "are you with us?"
I say, nope.
I am only one person, but I just cancelled my T-mobile.
I am trying to switch to Patriot Mobile, but my current android (made in China), is GSM and not compatible with CDMA.
After some I did some research, it seems that CDMA can’t do data and voice at the same time. No big deal.
I will gladly buy a new phone and switch carriers.
I just cancelled my T-Mobile I went with spectrum so far I have not gotten a BLM message from spectrum!! It is 20.00 bucks a month less too!!!
Yep, it's just the top rated show, that's all.
