He did rebound quickly. He was skin and bones when he showed up after getting lost in the bean field for who knows how long. He was born next door at Hubby’s cousin’s farm and must have followed his momma into the beans, then lost her. He heard Hubby mowing one day and followed the sound of the mower and that’s how he got out.

Maybe one of these days Smokey will learn she can have two good meals a day. At least she’s getting one good one now and that’s the important thing.

Both ‘net and TV are still working but both are squirrelly. I have no idea what to expect this weekend. Just hopin’ and prayin’ they don’t go out again.

I hope she learns to stick around in the back during the day. No telling where she goes. I just took this one looking down on her poor little skinny body.
