During the Civil War the Demorats were working for the Confederates from day one. They were called Copperheads. They tried to have New York City secede. They walked into Union Army camps to try to get soldiers to desert and tried to bribe them to get others to do the same.They hate Black people and always have.
Not necessarily so. Don’t fall for all that. It may be nice for sloganeering but it’s not really clearcut about the ACW.
Look at whom of the CW liberals love today, and the only “USA” they unanimously celebrate. It’s Lincoln and his “Union” they adore. It was the ONLY time the USA was perfectly correct and wonderful, per liberals. Otherwise, they always disparage the US.
