Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley Apologizes for Joining Trump on Church Walk

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley on Thursday apologized for accompanying President Donald Trump on his walk to St. John’s Episcopal Church earlier June.

“My presence in that moment and in that environment created a perception of the military involved in domestic politics,” Milley told National Defense University graduates in a pre-recorded speech. “As a commissioned uniformed officer, it was a mistake that I have learned from, and I sincerely hope we all can learn from it.”

Milley, Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, and Attorney General William Barr accompanied President Trump to Lafayette Square after protesters were cleared from the park. Democrats and the corporate media accused law enforcement of deploying tear gas against the protesters, a claim shot down by the U.S. Park Police.

“To curtail the violence that was underway, the USPP, following established policy, issued three warnings over a loudspeaker to alert demonstrators on H Street to evacuate the area. Horse mounted patrol, Civil Disturbance Units and additional personnel were used to clear the area,” the U.S. Park Police said in a statement. “As many of the protestors became more combative, continued to throw projectiles, and attempted to grab officers’ weapons, officers then employed the use of smoke canisters and pepper balls. No tear gas was used by USPP officers or other assisting law enforcement partners to close the area at Lafayette Park. Subsequently, the fence was installed.”

As outrage from Trump critics grew, Esper said in a press conference that he was not aware he would be accompanying President Trump to St. John’s Church.

“I was not aware a photo op was happening,” Esper stated. “I do everything I can to stay apolitical.”

In the same briefing, Esper also said he opposed President Trump’s call for deploying active-duty forces in a law enforcement role...

What do thugs in the Pentagon think a President is? It’s a political position AND President Trump’s also CIC... YES, that’s higher rank than a bunch of sell-out Generals...

Everything Trump does can be considered ‘political’. Everything.

The only exception for corrupt Pentagon brass would be if President Trump agreed to meet with black looters, Antifa, and Marxists thugs. THEN and only then would the Pentagon allow a ‘General’ to walk with Trump.

Traitors running the Pentagon ‘social change’ unit would approve of that... especially if their
General got down and kissed the feet of looters...

Time for change.

Fire Pentagon commie jerks and encourage them form a non-profit for ‘social change’. NO MORE BILLIONS FROM TAXPAYER FOR THE TRAITORS...

Then hire new people to defend the country... people capable of winning a war - or at lease NOT giving up to commie thugs without a fight.

Yes, he can, the one thing the military has is an over abundance of Generals and Admirals doing nothing more then collecting a pay check.

*** As outrage from Trump critics grew ***

A Tempest in the media teapot. The media is whipping up hysteria with rapid-fire mis-reporting of the news. So much, in fact, that they could spend the rest of this year printing retractions and they’d never have enough time to ‘report’ any more news.

I am getting to the point where I am ashamed to once be associated with the military in any way. The military’s leaders are so woke they no longer speak for the majority of its members.

Milley has dishonored his uniform and the country. He should resign and, if he won’t, he must be fired. If neither happens, then President Trump cannot count on the military in any showdown with the anarchists and the fascists.

But are there any Generals / Admirals who are true patriots who love and respect this President and everything he stands for?

Agree.

Lou Dobbs just played a great clip from the movie, Seven Days in May....where top military leaders attempt to overthrow a sitting President.

The response (in the clip), by the President was perfect....if you don’t like something I’m doing...YOU run for office. (Something along those lines.)

So sick of this attempted coup BS.

These traitors are all being threatened and/or paid off.
