.. We’ll just close the store & move !
OMG I remember Dippity Doo! My Mom and aunts all used it when they’d roll their hair....with bobby pins! Thanks for the memory!
ProtectOurFreedom ~ Just lock the front doors to the store and let one customer at a time in.
Or revert to the pre-Piggly Wiggly paradigm.
Go in the front door, go to the counter, hand the mustachioed guy in the white shirt with garters your shopping list, he runs the shelves picking out every item on your list, while you wait, you gossip with the other customers on the customer side of the counter, then he brings your filled order to the counter, totals it up, you pay him, and he gives you your goods with a smile and a wish for a good day.
Heck, you could even modernize with one of theses newfangled computers, and place your order on the, what's it called, the interwebs, and come to the store at a prearranged time slot and have a clerk bring it all out to your buggy...
They lock up items that are typically stolen, based on their inventory records.
White people do not use these products.
Who uses these products?
Next they will say whites are stealing them so blacks cant tend to their hair.
More racism.
Yawn...
Just put them in a cart with a free sign on them.
Problem solved, no more stealing by the sistas.
At this point, what difference does it make?
No one gets prosecuted for anything under a grand, just give it up and don't sweat it:(
We are so screwed, it's time to go to the mattresses.
Sounds like “professional shoppers” to me. Somebody should start such a business!
Not just in higher prices.
Shrinkage losses are tax deductible.
We need to do away with that deduction.
The they should just place them outside so they are easier to pick up. The gals will be right along to pick them up.
COntrast these two statements from the article:
“highlighting a situation that people of color have long faced.”
“12 stores”.
Walmart has 4756 stores. 12 of them locked stuff up. So, how many people of color EVER faced this problem with walmart?
One problem with the media is that it is picking individual actions and pretending they are a pandemic.
More people of color died in one night in chicago, than during the entire set of riots where we are told police were committing mass brutality (more cops died than protesters were killed by police, and more protesters were killed by protesters than by police).
Stories like this merely underline the thieving nature of “multiculturals”.
I doubt it, unless you shop at walmart, and unless you shop at one of the 12 walmarts that locked these particular products up.
The makeup I buy at Walmart has security devices attached, and I’m the lightest shade on the charts. Only people lighter are street mimes.
“For example, if they find that customers who purchase beer are also significantly more likely to purchase diapers, they will move the diapers closer to the beer aisle. (Thats a real-world example, by the way.)”
It does prompt the question: did the beer come first and produce the demand for diapers? Or did the diapers come first and produce the demand for beer?
Producers are paid by articles processed at the cash registers.
I saw an entitled liberal white guy at Trader Joe’s opening each carton of eggs and finding the eggs he liked the most and putting them all into one carton. This, of course, required him to pull each egg out of the carton and examine it closely. He must have stood there doing this for 10 minutes. Granted, he wasn’t STEALING anything, but what he was doing was disturbing.
I like him less than I do the black lady stealing grapes.
Indeed. They might simply stop selling them, if they figure doing so will affect the bottom line more positively than losing money to pilferage will. Wallmart is one of the most sophisticated retailers out there.
hmmm, I wonder why they locked them up in the first place? (s)
