House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Wednesday called for the removal of nearly a dozen Confederate statues from the halls of Congress, throwing her weight behind efforts to take down the figures linked to racism and the Confederacy following the death of George Floyd.

Send her some ice cream and booze to shut her up.
I agree Robert Byrd goes first and foremost!!
Historical Monuments and history in general are impediments to their version of change
Common sense tells us all that a people ignorant of their history-including that of slavery and civil war are destined to repeat it
which is the idea in the end
Remove all the Democrats
American Leftists are our Taliban. Intolerant and violent.
Isn’t this a waste of time? Gotta admit it works for them.
Statute of Byrd at the State Capitol in West VIrginia
It must come down
The black racists at BLM are doing a good job of tearing down black cultural heritage, including businesses, families, neighborhoods and institutions.
Seig Heil, BLM!
I fully support the Democratic party removing itself from the congress to make amends for their deeds for supporting slavery and starting the Civil War.
Are you brave enough Nancy?

With his passage, the nonogenarian West Virginia senator (may he rest in peace) leaves behind a proud legacy of pork and an entire state filled with things named after himself and his wife. WVNS has the most comprehensive list Ive seen anywhere. Ill excerpt the transportation portion:
The Robert C. Byrd Appalachian Highway System Robert C. Byrd Bridge linking Huntington with Chesapeake, Oh. Robert C. Byrd Drive between Beckley and Byrds hometown of Sophia Robert C. Byrd Expressway near Weirton Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam across the Ohio River in Mason County Robert C. Byrd Inter-modal Transportation Center in Wheeling.
Note that the complete list is about four times as long as this. Perhaps now theyll rename the state after him.
I just emailed Pelosi office and reminded her that EVERYTHING of Senator Byrd must be removed also after all he was a leader of the KKK and he was a democrat!!
Either Byrd’s picture must come down or it must be replaced with the picture of him in a KKK outfit.
More than 50 buildings built with funds from US taxpayers directed to West Virginia are named for either Byrd or his wife, Erma Ora Byrd (née James).[2] Several transportation projects named for Byrd have gained national notoriety, including the Robert C. Byrd Highway.[8] Also known as “Corridor H” of the Appalachian Development Highway System, the highway was dubbed “West Virginia’s road to nowhere” in 2009 after it received a $9.5 million earmark in the $410 billion Omnibus Appropriations Act.[8] The highway received another $21 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.[8] Critics argued the traffic on the highway was too light and the cost too high for the project to continue construction until its proposed completion in 2035.[8] The State of West Virginia argued the highway was necessary as “an ideal evacuation route for Washington, about 100 miles away, in case of an emergency.”[8]
