Across our looted plain, statues are under siege. Smashed. Spray-painted. Shrouded. Expunged. In the name of social justice, we are witnessing the systematic eradication of history. Edifice vigilantes will not rest until all monuments of Western civilization fall.
It matters not whether the targets were guilty of the tired old charges of patriarchal oppression and institutional racism. It only matters that marble and granite tributes to dead white men be replaced with garish "Black Lives Matter" street murals and St. George Floyd altars.
Trillions of tax dollars have been spent on America's War on Poverty. We've had four decades of affirmative action. A black president held the White House for eight years, with a black first lady, black attorney general, black homeland security secretary, black transportation secretary, black education secretary, black U.N. ambassador, top black senior advisers, and more than 400 black presidential appointees. It's never enough.

We just celebrated Jefferson Davis Day as a state holiday last week here in Alabama. What exactly are we celebrating? His fine management of the War and the smooth functioning of the Conferedate government?

You would never know that based on the Confederate statues. No indications of slavery as a role in the Civil War in those monuments.
Australia had a ONE HOUR Eureka rebellion. One hour! Yet the flag is still flown and honored.
Canada had the Metis Rebellion in which leader Louis Riel was hanged for treason and murder. That flag and days honoring Riel are still celebrated in Canada.
In the US, what was supposed to be a 90 day dustup with the South being dragged back into the Union kicking and screaming, turned into a four year long slugfest with over a million casualties. Now any memory of it are being systematically erased.
Something is not right here. History is being destroyed.
Your point being? The monuments usually depict people of import in times of crisis. The Civil War was a time of crisis for the Southern States. Let's get rid of the racist, former slave permitting Southern States and let them have their own racist, deplorable country.

I would suggest that we assign this as their primary goal and that a cold, hard stop be put to these activities EVERYWHERE in the nation. They want to destroy this nation, not the statues. They are using the statues and street names to accomplish their destruction right before our eyes. It needs to be dealt with as an attack on our country rather than some lunatic activity. This is a coordinated effort and needs to be treated as we would an enemy invasion. Yes, it is that serious.
