LONDON — Two months ago, when there were roughly one million confirmed coronavirus cases and the primal politics of survival was sweeping the world, shutting down was the order of the day.
This week, the number of cases soared past seven million, with 136,000 new infections detected on Sunday alone, the highest single-day total since the pandemic began.
The order of the day? Reopening.....
“This is not the time for any country to take its foot off the pedal,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director general of the World Health Organization, warned at a news conference in Geneva this week. The crisis, he said, is “far from over.”

I read the testing had been shutdown in riot areas.
And screaming and yelling likely made an even bigger joke of the mask thing. Also, if you're the sort who gets off on rioting and looting, I don't think you're the kind of good citizen who keeps quarantine if required.

Look at NYC. It’s over there. They went through the 70 day cycle. Minimal hospitalizations now. Virus is attenuating. I guess the only thing left is for the tyrants to promote the agendas of fear.
I’m not going to even google what percentage 411,681 deaths is from a total world population of 7.8 billion people... Whatever that figure is... It isn’t enough. Over 250,000+ people die per day from various maladies. After 6 or 7 months... This virus hasn’t even added 2 full extra days of death to our yearly calendar and this is a leap year...
The more important question the NY Times will never ask... How many deaths have we added to future years from the poverty, starvation and ill health that will be caused by the destruction of our economies throughout this worldwide lock down?
It’ll be interesting to see if public health officials and the enemedia come clean about any new cases likely acquired at the protests. I’m already seeing signs that they won’t, at least in my neck of the woods. And that is very problematic if they still want to try to maintain that preventing the spread is their number one goal.
I think it’s in their best interest to come clean with it and augment the try number. It would allow the need to lockdown narrative until eradicated. I am detecting the left at DU already saying sky rocketing cases becsuse is reopening.
It’s a tap dance but watch them thread the needle with the help of our useless idiots like hockey stick McGee, Kozak, exdemom, helping time continue to make tyranny out of a relatively banal pandemic.

Very educated and intelligent doctor I know told me in April that this would burn out in any geography it popped up in within 70-90 days
How about this: The world is re-opening, since locking down is doing nothing but prolonging the epidemic.
