Secretary of State’s office opens investigation into ‘poor planning’ by county elections

The Secretary of State’s office says county officials are to blame for voting issues that have caused massive lines and hours-long wait times at polling locations across metro Atlanta.

“The voting situation today in certain precincts in Fulton and Dekalb counties is unacceptable. My office has opened an investigation to determine what these counties need to do to resolve these issues before November’s election. Obviously, the first time a new voting system is used there is going to be a learning curve, and voting in a pandemic only increased these difficulties. But every other county faced these same issues and were significantly better prepared to respond so that voters had every opportunity to vote.”

Only Broward and Cook counties are more incompetently run than these demoncrat run counties.

Already major complaints about voter suppression in these majority-black counties. The situation at the voting site near our house was horrendous. It took over 2 hours to vote in mid-afternoon. Slow as molasses.

Good question as to whether Democrats are running these elections.

Stacey Abrams is the expert on Georgia elections. Certainly she will weigh in soon on this.

As I was huddled inside our polling place during the interminable wait today, I noticed a couple voters headed into the storm outside to record an online chat with Stacey about all the voter suppression they were experiencing at our polling place. Needless to say, EVERY poll official was a black Democrat. Haven’t even tried looking at the TV spot they made out of it, but I’m sure that reality was not mentioned.

“The Secretary of State’s office says county officials are to blame for voting issues that have caused massive lines and hours-long wait times at polling locations across metro Atlanta.”

Given the character, personality and low intelligence of the average government patronage worker it’s no wonder.

It's funny, I don't remember anyone complaining about wait time when Obama was on the ballot. I was in a snaking line for hours in Cobb County.

Dekalb is a disaster. I'm surprised Gwinnett wasn't on the list too.

Georgia’s presidential primary was postponed due to coronavirus. Today’s election day.

In the 2018 election in Georgia there were 36,000 absentee ballots mailed in.This year there were 1 million absentee ballots cast. There will be even more for the November election.

Georgia. Two heavily dem run counties that always fail their duties and always scream voter suppression
