Nationwide hysteria has given many liberals in positions of power nationwide the green-light to enact a handful of radical policies they’ve long wanted a catalyst for.
In Los Angeles, city council president Nury Martinez introduced a motion instructing the City Administrative Officer and Chief Legislative Analyst to find upwards of $150 million in cuts to the LAPD budget.
Ironically, Martinez benefits from the LAPD to an extent the citizens unfortunate enough to live under her leadership don’t. As Spectrum News noted:
A Los Angeles Police Department unit, often staffed by two officers, was ordered to stand watch outside L.A. City Council President Nury Martinez’s private home from April until June, multiple LAPD sources have confirmed to Spectrum News 1.
The private security detail infuriated some members of the force when Martinez became one of the council members to spearhead a motion to cut $150 million in funding to the LAPD’s budget.
“It’s kind of ironic. Here she is demanding $150 million be reallocated from the police budget, but yet she has security at her house by the Los Angeles Police Department,” said Det. Jamie McBride, who serves as director of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, the LAPD’s union.
McBride, who has been in law enforcement for 30 years, spent more than five years at the LAPD’s Foothill Division, which serves Martinez’s district in the San Fernando Valley.
It’s according to Martinez’s neighbors that the units have been there for two months, and they reported being pleased with the additional security in their neighborhood.
Police protection is serving Martinez (and her neighbors) well – so why doesn’t she want the same for everyone else?

Want to defund and dismantle your police force? Go ahead, I’m not against it. BUT, the following must be done also
- Remove gun control laws and allow local citizens to protect themselves
- Allow neighborhoods or parts of cities to hire their own police or protective services if they wish
- Disband government-supported police unions.
- Allow politicians controlling police to also be sued for police abuse
- Make police and politicians buy their own liability insurance, instead of simply allowing payments to come from government budgets
- stop making petty, ridiculous crimes out of non-violent offenses.

According to John & Ken yesterday, on their show, the LAPD is 50% Hispanic and less than 30% White - so disbanding the police will hurt her own people more than the White people she dispises.
She’s also the very definition of hypocrisy.

And the first “hispanic” officer on the LAPD was a woman hired in 1949, when Los Angeles had 2 million people, about 95% white “non-hispanic” as the Americans are called now.

No one is serious about defunding the police, instead this is an attempt to take over municipal Police Depts across the nation, and take out Police Departments and Police Unions who support President Trump and the progressive movement. Its a huge race card play.
Tucker Carlson is spot on. He did a very brave thing last night, given that the ANTIFA/BLM crowd already picketed his private residence and threw things at it in Washington, DC.
It is obvious that Tucker is prepared to do battle with them. Same thing happened to Fox News “The Five” host Greg Gutfeld in NYC.Greg went outr and bought firearms he had hammers thrown through his windows, and next Greg thinks it will be home invasion..
The battle is now actually happening as the left try to silence genuine news sources who are against them.Both Tucker Carlson and Greg Gutfeld have put themselves at risk to inform the public of what ANTIFA/BLM represent and what they actually plan on doing, which is never what they say. They have a hidden agenda fully revealed by both Carlson and Gutfeld, which is why they are so hated by both ANTIFA and BLM.
