It seems there is no organisation willing to resist the demands or even requests from race obsessed radicals. Our society has lost its immune system.

Ask a hundred people and you’re going to get a hundred different definitions of ‘racism’.

Had the same general thought. Its discouraging to be surrounded by pod people.

From Wikipedia:
Newspeak is the fictional language of Oceania, a totalitarian superstate that is the setting of George Orwell's dystopian 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. To meet the ideological requirements of English Socialism (Ingsoc) in Oceania, the ruling Party created Newspeak, a controlled language of simplified grammar and restricted vocabulary, meant to limit the freedom of thought—personal identity, self-expression, free will—that threatens the ideology of the régime of Big Brother and the Party, who have criminalised such concepts into thoughtcrime as contradictions of Ingsoc orthodoxy.”

The Marxists now write the dictionary.

The false definition pretends that (1) racism cannot exist at the mere personal level, and (2) racism only exists as a systemic social aspect. Both of those ideas are intellectually dishonest in (a) denying the innate role and choices of the individual, and (b) all racism is “society’s” fault and not the fault of the individual.

Everything with Marxists is “social groups” and never the individual. It is a denial of so much that is foundational to western civilization.

I have an old hardcover Webster’s Dictionary printed in 1972. I will never get rid of it since it has the REAL definitions of words, not the politically corrected versions. I expect many more demands to change word definitions since the publishers are so easily intimidated.

I have one, too. Somewhere.

Next look for them to make possessing that dictionary, or any other materials that don’t tote their line, ILLEGAL.

If they come for your dictionary, give ‘em a round.

Racism now seems to be one of those words that really can’t be properly defined in a dictionary. If it is expressed in a certain way by one person, another may disagree with that explanation. This latest expected change by Webster is an example. I’m assuming the original definition of the word stood for a long time. If the word was left out of dictionaries, it would still be used. I’m thinking that eventually someone else will come up with yet another meaning that they think should be the “standard”.

I will accidentally drop it on his foot.

I am glad that I bought my Merriam-Webster Unabridged dictionary 20 years or more ago.

I am very glad I bought my Black's Law Dictionary in 1987 (3rd Edition). It has a proper definition of "marriage".

The two most over-used words out there recently are ‘racism’ and ‘treason’. They are applied to any and every situation and have long since lost their meaning.

I think Nazi would be in the running.

These days I doubt that more than a few college graduates could define the word.
