Not having a police department soon should help :-)
it’s ironic. Bad neighborhoods and business neighborhoods need the police by far the most. The suburbs will pretty much be okay without them.
although I could be wrong. I have never called them but I guess domestic disturbances could get out of hand and petty crime can go up in any neighborhood. But I don’t think murder is going to soar in a neighborhood that had none before
The goal is to collapse our system of government. Leftists want a ‘revolution’ and this is their first step. Eliminate police departments. Seize ALL guns.
Then they’ll do what leftists have all historically done in totalitarian regimes. “Re-educate’ and exterminate.
They murdered 100 million in the 20th century. God help us.
Working-class neighborhoods are the ones who will suffer the most, and find reason to shut-down and leave the community. If you owned a McDonalds in this area and got burned down...I’m sure the franchise owner will review options, and then voice the idea that you will build a new front back up....but a minimum of 20 miles from the old location.
This part of Minneapolis will never officially recover. Some folks will view options and just start renting the U-Haul vans to leave not just the area but maybe the state.
Then you add in people who might not have carried a gun before, but now see a reason to haul a gun in the car (to work, while shopping, or dropping kids off at school). Your trust level just got impacted.
Finally, you come to the maturity level of the city council and mayor. Frankly, they fail miserably. I don’t think the mayor will last more than another month or two, and he’ll just set a resign date toward the end of summer. Trust is virtually a joke at this point.
If they cant get what they need in their hood, theyll be coming into yours.
Like the man said, the suburbs are where the money is.
