I recall when it looked like Mike Bloomberg was going to come in and snatch the nomination away from Biden. It was going to be so easy, easier than taking candy from a baby.
Then, to everyone’s utter shock Mike struck out on the hitter’s mound. He never did recover from that evening of being unprepared.
I’m hoping Mitt or Ryan, or whomever is the new Egg McMuffin will flame out just as quickly and just as totally.

they didn’t support him in 2016 either, and he won anyway.

One thing I have always liked about Trump — he has all the right enemies.

TRUMP 2020

Oh hell yeah, what we need is “new leadership” like Gropin’ Joe Biden, who has been in government for the last 48 years. If anyone is wondering how America has steadily deteriorated in political culture for the last half century, ask Joe, not a guy like Trump who has been in politics for four years.

“...But now Mr (Mark) Sanford believes Mr Trump is threatening the stability of the country.”

NO. The Dims are “threatening the stability” and the always Trump-hating FORMER GOP elite are willing to help the Dims at grave cost to their own party and worse, to the country. The FORMER GOP elite have never forgiven Trump for defeating them in 2016. Now, and for THAT REASON, seeing an opportunity to punish Trump they are willing to sell out with positions they never would have fallen into before.

They are not following any “principals”, just succumbing to the media’s roll of the Left’s agenda to put their own lying spin on events. Were they the ones at the top in office they would be fighting the media for its subservience to the Left. Now they are simply turncoats.

But now Mr (Mark) Sanford believes Mr Trump is threatening the stability of the country. “He’s treading on very thin ice”

I think the riots are threatening the stability of the country, along with resulting talk of dismantling police departments. Does he mean Trump caused the riots? I don't think so. It would be difficult to logically defend such a statement, and he didn't say that.

So what is he talking about? Typically, as here, you can't quite figure out what Never Trumpers are talking about. The best guess is he's talking about nothing at all. You have to guess with the Never Trumpers, because they never make anything clear.

I agree, Bush and Romney - and others - are up to something. As far as Bush is concerned, I take it that he is a mouthpiece for the Saudis. They are no doubt enraged with Trump, because he did not deliver them their hoped-for war with Iran (a war fought by Americans, obviously, you wouldn’t expect a single Saudi boy to risk his life), and thus $200 per barrel oil.

“...Only racists support abortion...”
Before last week, I’d agree. After this week, the way some people are thinking and dealing with what’s going on is changing.
Talking to a couple of folks yesterday about this very issue. They’ve always been very conservative and anti-abortion. Now, they’re reconsidering their position on the issue even though they still agree abortion is evil. As one put it: “I’d rather see em legally ripped from the womb now than to have to kill em in the streets in order to save the country in the future.” I was shocked by his statement and just walked away shaking my head.

Yes, it does.

Isn’t he the governor who disappeared and was found to be in South America with his new girlfriend? There’s someone whose opinion I want to take seriously.

If these two clowns were arrested and charged with being Republicans, there wouldn’t be enough evidence to charge nor to convict them!

Thanks to Alberta’s Child for the above reality!

Didn’t Mr Mark Sanford engage in some very odd conduct while governor? And he, along with warmonger Bush and loser Romney, want to throw Trump out as an incompetent??

Today I heard Colon Powell™ say the President is a danger to the Constitution because he does not follow the foreign policy goals of the government.

Does Powell not know that the Constitution gives that power to the Executive branch which is run by Trump ?

If these “country club” Republicans do succeed in their coup. are we going to vote for their candidate because he/she is the lesser of the two evils?

Tell me, those of you who would hold your noses, just why you think this would be the lesser of two evils?

"Bush and Romney are up to something."

The Whigs want their adoring masses back, but I don't think there are enough dumb people to fall for it.
