The rural counties of Minnesota are not all that liberal and not all that in love with the liberal ways of the twin cities. If the jury is pulled from anyplace other than the cities this is going to be an interesting trial and all it takes is one doubter for a hung jury.

NYTimes says the 2nd autopsy was done, then proceeds to report on things missing in an autopsy report and missing tissue and toxicology.

A jury will not care about the autopsy details. What they will see is that a white LEO sat on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes and for nearly three minutes after Floyd became unresponsive. The jury will decide the case on whether Floyd would have died at that moment if not for the 9 minute neck restraint.

It’s a good day for his defense counsel, because the only way that the dirty cop gets a murder conviction is if everyone including the jury are corrupt. Explain how an autopsy for drug use and heart disease as cause of death result in a murder conviction?

I guess my local tough on rioters sheriff is “corrupt”, too. He called it “murder” and said that as a former patrol officer he was “shocked” none of the other cops intervened to stop the beating to death of a handcuffed and unconscious prisoner.

If this had happened at a Trump rally nobody would be defending these dirty cops. Something else must be at play here. I can’t imagine what that issue might be.
