a GoFundMe account set up by Candace Owens, titled “Mob rule has no place in America,” which was subsequently shut down after raising $205,000 in a few hours.
The conservative activist launched a GoFundMe campaign in support of Michael Dykes, a Birmingham bar owner who called George Floyd a “thug” — Floyd served at least four stints in prison, including a 5-year sentence for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The media narrative is that at the age of 46, he was turning his life around, though a toxicology report said he had fentanyl in his system at the time of his death, as well as meth.
Dykes also called the protesters idiots, suggesting a “protest tax” should be added to drinks for having to close early due to curfews imposed over the protests.
“Mr. Floyd was a thug, didn’t deserve to die but honoring a thug is irresponsible,” the bar owner said.
The intolerant left called for boycotting the business after a now-former employee leaked Dyke’s words, which were expressed in a text message to two managers

It won’t end until social media ends. Anyone could see this coming from a long way off - nothing but problems. How did the country survive before it? Well enough, thank you very much.
To put this into the perspective it deserves:

In this short story (written at a time when the landline telephone was a new thing), Mark Twain dreamed up an invention called the “telelectroscope”.
In the story, this telelectroscope used the phone system to support a global network for information sharing (Um, anyone else thinking dial-up?) which would be visible and audible from anywhere. His short story involved people from around the world being able to keep up to date with each other’s daily deeds, to quote “the daily doings of the globe made visible to everybody, and audibly discussable too, by witnesses separated by any number of leagues”. So, basically, he predicted both the internet and social media way back in 1898 when most people hadn’t even heard the sound of a phone ringing.
That is a bit too much like the Babylon Bee these days. It really isn’t funny.

Technically, such a site can be sued for breach of contract as the rules are not specified. In the past, this would have been a slam-dunk case, but for some reason I look down the road and see John Roberts joining with the RBG crew and denying the user, which will then open the floodgates to allow blanket discrimination in all industries against conservatives.
Individuals are the same the world over and are no different from now, to Dickens' time, to Shakespear's time, to Chaucer's time and before.

So...GoFundMe mimics President Obama’s/Lois Lerner’s IRS targeting of conservative groups for more than two years prior to the 2012 presidential election.
