Failed English comprehension in grammar school? I have not see anyone making a hero out of George Floyd. Mostly it is outrage for thrusting a knee on neck of a suspect by the cop for almost 9 minutes. The reason? Suspected passing a $20 counterfeit bill, NOT arson, NOT murder, NOT violent behavior, NOT battery, NOT selling drugs to minors, etc. Ironically the $20 bill turns out to be NOT counterfeit! But that is besides the point.
I am 100% against any cop kneeling on the neck of any person suspected of a NON-VIOLENT crime.
Somebody failed English comprehension in grammar school. English composition, too.
Is violently resisting arrest a violent crime in your book?
Or, does that not count as long as the original offense isn’t violent?
And actually there has been a lot of honoring him, speaking of how he’s a man of God, etc., while trying to silence the fuller picture of his life—which is what might actually shed more light on the situation.
And you could be against the knee on the neck as a tactic, but it was part of the taught and approved Minny cop procedures.
