Is violently resisting arrest a violent crime in your book?

Or, does that not count as long as the original offense isn’t violent?

And actually there has been a lot of honoring him, speaking of how he’s a man of God, etc., while trying to silence the fuller picture of his life—which is what might actually shed more light on the situation.

And you could be against the knee on the neck as a tactic, but it was part of the taught and approved Minny cop procedures.

If you had spent more time on language you would be better able to understand when certain people are trying to play upon your emotions and other instincts through the skillful use of rhetoric and other linguistic ploys.

NO! It is asinine to assume violent resistance to arrest by ONE individual with 4 strong cops present.

I was on a jury once where a 75 year old man was being prosecuted for resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. I voted guilty on possession, because the cops had produced evidence of confiscated container with a few ounces of marijuana.

But I refused to vote guilty on resisting arrest. There were 2 burly cops present during arrest, and a skinny 75 year old man who looked feeble in court! No person wants to be arrested for smoking ganja at home and not bothering anyone, especially when you a 75 year old man living by yourself. I say that having never in my 80 years of life tried anything which is illegal. So the accused may not have placed his hands behind him with a smile on his face. But resisting arrest with 2 cops who weighed twice as the old man, each? Ridiculous. This was in Dupage county, Illinois which is very conservative county. After several votes failing unanimous guilt for both counts, finally the other jurors gave up guilty on both counts. I felt good having used common sense.

There is no need to use anything but common sense. No person deserves to have his neck squeezed for 9 minutes while complaining continuously of unable to breathe. This is not Russia or China. For what? Suspicion of passing a counterfeit $20 bill? Which later was found to be NOT counterfeit.

So no way any American should have a knee on his neck for 9 minutes by any cop, after the person is hand cuffed and on the ground and is UNARMED with 3 other strong young cops standing around.

I hope the cop gets put away in prison for a long time. This is unacceptable behavior in United States of America.

Remember after the Furgeson MO riots, obama and pelosi issued “guidelines” to police departments all around the country?
It was a type of blackmail. Either follow the guidelines, or lose funding. A type of nationalizing of local police.

This is going to be the same thing, using Floyd’s brother as a prop.
